Vocal Coach Reacts To Creedence Clearwater Revival - Travelin' Band - Live - Ken Tamplin

John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival has inspired a lot of my musical style and if you have not delved into their music, you need to check them out!

Also referred to as Creedence or CCR, they have helped define what rock is. Their musical style encompassed roots rock, swamp rock, and blues rock.

The band wrote political and socially conscious lyrics about topics including the Vietnam War and performed at the 1969 Woodstock Festival in Upstate New York.

CCR has sold 28 million records in the United States alone but interestingly never had a #1 hit. They had five singles in America which peaked at number two.

Creedence Clearwater Revival's music is still a staple of US radio airplay and Rolling Stone ranked them 82nd on its 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

CCR, the most underrated band of all times.. Fogerty was a brilliant singer and songwriter, and also a top shelf guitar player. Never mentioned in any top lists.

Another fantastic video!! I absolutely love this band!! My mum got me into this band when I was very young. Their song ‘up around the bend’ was in the John Travolta film ‘Michael’ and I’ve loved them ever since! Have all their albums! Live this reaction video! Legend.

Hi Ken, I just wanna tell u that thanks to ur videos my vibrato finally kicked in 3 days ago. It was true, I wasnt relaxed enough, my basics wasnt good enough. It took me 2 years of patience using ur guides to let it kicks in even tho I have been practicing to sing for years.

Saw CCR live in Houston in...uh...73? No Tom, but the energy was Cosmic. John's harp playing was inspirational. Must have been a really good night for Stu John and Doug cuz they were all at the top of their game. Nothing rushed, having fun, ALL facing the crowd 90% of the time and SMILING.
