The Wunderlust Travelers had a great time visiting The Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye during our May 2021 vacation. We had a fantastic weather day that hopefully captured the majestic and dramatic views of Storr using our DJI Air 2S drone filming in true 4K at 30fps. It was truly epic.

This is probably the most famous walk on the Island and definitely the busiest. The ‘Old Man’ is a large pinnacle of rock that stands high and can be seen for miles around. It's part of the Trotternish ridge the Storr was created by a massive ancient landside, leaving one of the most photographed landscapes in the world.

Legend has it that the Old Man of Storr was a giant who resided on the Trotternish Ridge. When he was laid to rest upon his death, his thumb—the “Old Man”—remained partially above ground.

Was going there, but they said no drone allowed. Is it okay to just fly the drone anyway?
