Been following ya for a while now Josh and although I think all your videos are great content, these (your tool/equipment/product reviews) are always extra great to watch - keep 'em coming and thanks for sharing! 🤠👍

I’ve always heard you want to water early morning. Watering in afternoon, evaporation. Watering at night, mold.

That's great! Very cool to be able to control it via phone.

One problem with these timers that connect to a hose bib is they restrict water flow (volume). The best way to do it is use solenoid valves that are tapped straight into your water pipe. That way you can have full flow with no restrictions. They are more pricey but well worth it for longevity and output.

That is nice Josh. I used one of the older models that was not bluetooth but just a dial that you pushed in to start and pull out to stop.

I have the Rachio four zone timer for my sprinkler system and I love it. This is the first year I’ve gone with a Bluetooth controller. Good product.

If you only have one hose bib, take the second outlet and connect the second controller to it, then set that zone on the first controller, to a longer time than the total of the two zone times one the second controller.

I have the Beehive wifi controller for my sprinklers at my house and it is so easy to use. I also have the battery powered Rainpoint non-wifi/bluetooth for the farm. Both are great.

Thankfully a good soak is not bad for new grass seeding starting out or getting it to going. Maybe toss out some more new grass seed to get it going before fall turns to winter and it gets unlikely grass will germinate. Nice device share Josh
Thanks David

I have a warning comment about lithium ion batteries. If the come in contact with salt water the salt water is highly conductive. The water can easily get into the battery casing and cause a rapid release of energy creating high heat and high potential for fire. A lot of swimming pools are switching to saline for water purification instead of chlorine. Some of the devices are similar to the timers you are showing that are used in the set up. The device removes the chlorine atom from the salt and uses it sanitize the water. Your application is less likely going to come in contact with salt water but I just wanted to let people know to be careful when using lithium ion batteries in any device that can mix with salt water.

I have the b*hyve smart waterer with the transmitter inside. It's the single port one. It is awesome. Only thing I don't like is the rain delay option. It will take your watering program off like it should but I have noticed it does it by Forcast. 20% chance of rain around here in Ohio doesn't mean squat lol. But I still love it. It is awesomely accurate ✌️

2:37 Didn’t know that. But let me tell you, 10 years ago purchased Rayovac D batteries (scuffed at their claim of 10 years) just for my emergency fan that I didn’t need until 7 years later, & they kept working another 3 years.

You're a good guy Josh, I enjoy watching the videos. In particular 'Tool Tuesday ' because I nearly always find something interesting to look into 😊.

The BHyve looks exactly the Holman brand we get here in Australia just different colored.
My parents went through 3 of them. They all has the same issue where the valve inside wouldn’t fully open so water flow was poor

A real farmer would carry buckets up from the stream and water by hand at 5 AM every morning😂

I like the one with the phone app, that’s pretty awesome
