I did confirm with Newbeedrone that the soldering iron is tempeature-controlled. And they say they will be including a prop tool with the kit, but it didn't get included in the reviewer kit because they were still sourcing it at the time the reviewer kits went out.

Can you do a video of building your dream drone again because a lot of new products have come out

I have been slowly building my collection of build tools. I have spent over $50 buying what I need from different places and I still need true hex drivers. This kit is absolutely a good deal and Newbeedrone has really been impressing me with trying to bring quality, value and thoughtfulness to the customer.

The precision screwdriver is perfect for whoop builds, as one of the last lovers of brushed whoops that is my favorite whoop screwdriver.

... and I went through all your videos 2 days ago for soldering irons and tools, and ordered everything already.. Damn it Mr Bardwell! But I learned something today too ❤️

Hollow handle metal hex drivers are good for putting your soldering iron in after you've just turned it off but don't want to wait for it to cool down before packing it up.
The hex driver's handle will soak up & disperse the heat still in the iron nicely without burning/melting anything, so long as the iron doesn't fall out.

You could also grind down the tip of that 8 mm wrench to make it a lot thinner which is what we do at work to adjust our brakes on our AC servo drive motors!

It's a really great toolkit. I've used mine several times in the field as well as on the bench & can confirm that the soldering iron is really good. No trouble using 3S LiPos to power it; works well. NewBeeDrone also sells an AC adaptor for it, too. 👍🏼

Agreed. Picked one up when they first came out. As you go on to explain, as well, I add a prop socket wrench, small Philips screw driver, some small assorted various sized accessories...and amazingly it all fits in their wonderful case.

That really small Phillips head screwdriver make sense for working on whoops

I disagree, That little screwdriver is THE BEST addition, considering NBD's best known for their Bee Brain Whoop lineup, that makes it the most used part of my kit. It's also perfect for hitting bind buttons on boards and DJI stuff. Also, the NBD staff told me that little green guy is an antenna buddy, he lives on your antenna.

That is the best tiny whoop screw driver i've seen.

Nice alien. You are a goofball, but that's why we love ya. I've been thinking about a travel soldiering iron, I'm getting this kit for sure.

The screwdriver is for the mini-whoops from NewBeeDrone, it's perfect for the canopy and such :)

I bought this kit the other day after watching this vid.
Great kit.. soldering iron was really fantastic.. for 3 days.. and now it struggles to melt even thin solder. Sigh.
Hoping they will replace, but im wary of its durability now.

You could also 3D print a container for that sponge that was smaller and then cut a piece of that brass sponge to fit in it!

Hey, thanks for the heads up on this kit. Just purchased and received it already... Nice kit.

I actually love the little phillips screwdriver, in addition to tiny whoops being almost entirely tiny phillips (it is NBD after all) its also super annoying when something like the camera back screws or some little thing comes loose and you can never get it to work with the normal size bit.

Between the standard 8mm wrench and the screwdriver style grip 8mm wrench I prefer the screwdriver style. I’ve noticed that with a regular wrench I have enough leverage that I can over tighten the nut and mess up the threads. The screwdriver style keeps me from do that.

nice, ive been flying pretty hard lately and keep break or making stuff or making things come loose in the field, having a little poach that has everything in i need sounds pretty appealing
