A lot of people forget that Meta-Crisis Doctor also inherited Donna traits. Imagine the surprise Rose got when her ten copy started getting sassy and self-absorbed. I don't think they would have had a successful relationship in the parallel universe, because he probably would've been too different and difficult to deal with. Unless I'm forgetting some detail where the Donna part of him goes away or he can keep it under control.

I rewatched Journeys end recently, and that whole concept of the metacrises being the Doctor before he met Rose makes make sense to me.
Rose in Series 1 helped the Doctor become a better person over that time, so Ten is saying the Meta Crises needs that.

I feel like the ending with 10-2 was definitely an unhappy ending and left fans wanting more than being left to wonder what would happen to rose and the copy i always hoped for a follow up or something as while understandable that itd be difficult to hear from rose, i think it would have been nice to atleast have some form of closure or sense of normality in regards to companions departure

I love that she said this because this is why I stopped watching doctor who as a small child. After that ending it was like "the betrayal" lol. 😂

Tbh it did make sense for it to happen tho. Part of the issue with the doctor and rose staying together was that it wouldn’t have been like a normal relationship. Rose leaving with the other doctor meant they would age and die together, and she could heal him after he committed genocide (the same way she healed the ninth doctor). But as a kid, I really did want the real doctor and rose to stay together

Wow! She’s still got it. Seriously, just look at her! Almost Twenty years since she first appeared on Doctor Who and she still looks good. I dare say she even looks somewhat better, though that’s just my opinion.

I understand what she means, but when she says "2nd Doctor" and "Master" to Doctor Who fans, it gets a little confusing
