This makes me wish that Undertaker and Andre had a match at Wrestlemania 7 if the latter was well enough to compete.

Check out Andre and Stan Hansen from Japan. Great match that showed what Andre could do under the right circumstances.

Andre was hard to have long matches with but was good at his job

But undertaker was able to prove that he could go long matches with brock and HHH

I went to a WWF card in Rockford, IL in the early 1990s. Andre was part of the draw. He was so weak and crippled by that point that he just walked halfway down the aisle (in street clothes) and yelled at and pointed at whichever heel (I forget which one). The crowd popped and Andre walked back. I was 0.000% disappointed as I got to see Andre in person.

Undertaker was one of the few tall wrestlers that Andre liked. Undertaker would go up to him and call him boss and Andre knew he respected him. Undertaker said Andre wanted to do a match with him and told some details of the match with a referee. Sadly Andre died before they got to have the match. I believe Undertaker could've had a good match with him. But only that referee knows the plans Andre had. I know people might think of Giant Gonzales. But that guy should of never been a wrestler. Even Undertaker could not have a good match with him. But Andre knew how to wrestle and I think it would of Been a good one.

The undertaker is a skilled wrestler and he made wrestling very interesting. He drew crowds when he appeared. Andre however was just a giant of a man his wrestling was not the greatest but he was just a huge man.

Andre could kill anyone in under 5 mins.

This interviewer is pissing me off. He downplays Undertaker when he is a household name like the rock or stone cold. People that don't know jack about wrestling heard of the Undertaker.

Sorry Tony, you can't find 1000 wrestlers like the Undertaker.

Andre wasn't a great in ring worker. Now Tony is just living in the past. WWE only do the monster who cant lose in a wrestler's debut matches. All the big men actually have to work and put on good matches now.

I saw a match on youtube with Andre vs Bill Eadie in a baseball stadium in the Carolinas. It was far more entertaining than a tall, ginger charisma vacuum (remove the gimmick, the music and Paul Bearer and you have ginger Kurrgan or Giant Silva) walking on the top rope and sitting up after every big move. Undertaker was never a big draw and never the top guy at any point in his career in WWF/E. He was a great part of the overall show, but you couldn't draw files with him as the the name on the marquee (see WWF after Hogan left until 1997 and after Rock & Austin left post 2002). Andre was a special attraction, Undertaker was filler until the actual stars got in the ring. Andre is the headliner every day of the week.
