Fun fact: His neck was stretched upwards, his vocal cords was torn apart to the point where he could only gasp for air, which is why he couldn’t scream, as you saw he also had eyes brutally shoved in his skull to replace his, while his bones and vital organs were getting crushed into paste. And not only that, he got to sit there for 5 minutes enduring all of that before he died.

I love how in most interpretations of this scene, Afton is always flipping off the spirits right before getting absolutely obliterated by the springlocks.

Until now, I believe that this video was the one that best represented the failure of spring locks. The fact is that the well-known audio of William Afton suffering ignores several factors, such as the slowness for the springs to be activated, which probably does not happen so slowly. And also Wiliam's vocal chords were also cut, he wouldn't have been able to even moan in pain properly.

You know what terrifies me the most about this rendition of his death? (besides the blood and the INTENSE gore) is the fact that he didn't have time to scream in agony because the pain and shock just kills him instantly.

If you think about it, this is probably one of if not the most gruesome deaths in gaming if you consider that his body got replaced with a metal endoskeleton within a split second. Every single bone in his body was crushed and probably forced out of his body. His internal organs were demolished as well.

This has made me realise just how horrifying the deaths in the FNAF franchise actually are. This guy got crushed by metal skeleton. Considering that the spring suits are supposed to be fully functional animatronics, you can imagine all the parts that were forcibly placed back into there original positions. Heck, William should actually be dead (But this is FNAF and Afton just likes cheating death) from all the metal that were crammed into his vitals.

Allow me to illustrate...
His bones are shattered into pieces, fragments fell out of the suit and or just hung there, dangling on whatever ligament or flesh remained on them. The spinal cord snapped with a horrid crunch, pulled apart and ground into a disgusting mush. His brain was pulverised by the large eye mechanism, shattering his skull and popping his eyes out and replacing them with cold, metal balls that was jammed into his face. His jaw hung limp, held on to the fractured remains of his skull, loosely holding his teeth as they were torn out by metal rods. His organs punctured, bursting from in between the animatronic's shell, the endoskeleton and his own body with his intestines smooshed into a pulp that dripped out from the seams of the suit. He wished he could release his pain, he tried screaming to the heavens but only the wet, disgusting wails of a mangled throat came out of what was once his mouth. His skin instantly torn apart and shredded, leaving his exposed body to the stinging pain of the air as his muscles twisted and torn into strings. The pressure from his displaced mass, punctured holes of any size for his bodily fluids to flood out of, his blood pouring out onto the ground, convulsing and crippled. Nothing was left that could be considered a human however the wrathful mind of a psychopath somehow endured.

i like the fact how ge didn't have to scream not like other animated voicelines he just be screaming to death, this is the most realistic and perfect version of the springlock failure 👏👏
