Your work is super important to the YouTube community and the greater maths community at large. Not only for it’s importance to archival and archeological, but also as there aren’t good places to get a lot of actual reviews outside of academic structure.

You've laid the path for my journey of self-study. We all have a moral obligation to be mathematically literate to some degree, so that makes you a morally good human being for facilitating that for so many others.💜

After an incredibly disheartening try at school, I’m back in it working on my BS in Data Science. These videos make me feel way less isolated in this time and I’m grateful for that.

I once failed in mathematics examination. After that my parents decided to go for a private tutor for math. He was just brilliant. It was because of him I know what really mathematics is. Now it's almost 9 years and I just love maths.
Thanks to you also.
I wanted to get a doctrate degree but my father did not allow me to do that.
But you are just awesome man.

Congratulations on the 500k! An incredible achievement 🎉 I would’ve never have found my love for math if it wasn’t for this channel. Let’s keep spreading the word so other may follow!

Thank you Math Sorcerer for the content. I've been interested in maths for a long time even though I did poorly in my math classes in school. Yours has been one of the voices of encouragement for me to practice math again. I especially enjoyed some of your recent computer science book episodes as well. Thanks for all the maths!

Congratulations on 500K subscribers! It's really impressive how dedicated and passionate you are about teaching math. You motivate, inspire, and encourage people while always staying true to the spirit of mathematics. I truly admire your contribution. As a middle-aged software engineer, I have heard, seen and read many people teach mathematics at different levels. You are certainly among the exceptional ones. Being a lover of books and math myself, you have given me a lot of pleasure and terrific reading with your book presentations.

You are one of those rare people who care to make the little corner of their existence a better place for others as well. David Foster Wallace once said in a commencement speech: “The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” You embody this insight in a way that I find genuinely admirable.

Thank you!

I like this channel because of the books he suggests. I actually try to find the books in these videos. I discovered Blitzer AND Dover books through these videos. Its good to know other people like to buy math books too and do the problems. I came to these videos just wanting math books for Algebra, but these videos have made me interested in math besides Algebra and caused me to buy books on topics like proofs and calculus

I was questioning my decisions to make math a career when I stumbled upon your channel but your enthusiasm and honesty helped push me to do some self-study and rediscover what made me fall in love with this subject to begin with!

I took some time off from school a little while into covid, and your videos have really helped me stay motivated to learn math on my own. Thank you!

Your content inspires me to keep pushing myself to learn new math skills. Im now back in school again taking math classes that I tried to avoid in the past, and having a good time. Thanks for putting all the Math Positivity out there that you do, it really helps.

I would like to suggest that perhaps if it was possible that you might start interviewing other math professors. Maybe start with your alma mater and interview a current professor teaching an advanced math subject, or a physics or chemistry professor. Could even turn into a podcast style format. I really enjoyed that interview you did awhile back and was hoping you would do more.

A while back I had a question about algebra and thought I bet YouTube would tell me. I'm a psychiatric social worker and since basic math haven't had any need for advanced ... probably 95 to 98 percent of your channel is about things I don't understand but subscribing has taught me a lot and is fun thank you. BTW I have a noon appointment it's 11:55 so exus r the grammatical omissions and errors

I love the channel. My only request is that you include the copyright date in reviews. Sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t. Thanks!
