How to LeetCode effectively in 2022

Knowing the proper way to "LeetCode" is a skill in itself. I have been doing LeetCode problems consistently for over two years and here is what I have learned.

Check out my interview prep platform for learning the patterns!

First, higher problems solved does not necessarily equate to better skill. You can be interview ready for any tech company with about 100 carefully chosen problems. Choose your problems wisely because LeetCode will not do it for you. Second, consistency is better than grinding. Even if you are not planning to interview soon, start prepping now. Third, explaining a concept out loud will help you retain the information better. Lastly, always time yourself. In an interview, you will always be under a time limit and it is best to prepare in the same way.

1 - Pick your Problems carefully
2 - Value Consistency over Grinding
3 - explain your solution (at best out loud)
4 - time yourself when solving a Problem (look at the solution after around 45 Minuten)
5 - (my Personal addition) have fun with it, this will make it way easier to actually stay consistent
Good Luck to everyone preparing for Interviews 🎉

Such an on point video! I feel like introvert dudes love solving crazy amount of problems and brag about it. I personally love to have a WLB and go out on a weekend while I’m still young so a strategy is a must!

Dont completely agree on giving up after 45 or however long. I think this is a good type of studying but sometimes it is worth it to give a problem you find interesting or on the cusp of a solution for the time of day. If i find a problem like this I get stuck on but feel like i can solve ill add it to a list and revisit it later instead of looking at the solution.

Amazing video, I did not know that about leetcode. I was trying to get more into doing leetcode, but each time I try to do small videos and I take a long time on them. How would you suggest to tackle them.

I would highly appreciate the roadmap consists of basic intro / explanatory theory and good examples to practice and then at then end of a topic some practice problems from leetcode or codechef
