Here’s an old lady tip: save that paper that was wrapped around the butter, and use it to butter the baking pan 😜.

58 year old homeschool mom of 7, grandma of 5. Loving your channel. I always get inspired to cook and cooking shows are not on cable anymore. Love your funny antics and so does my 4 year old grandson. Thanks😊

My favorite kitchen tip is to sneak extra food while I am cooking, and then making a small plate of food in front of everyone, making it appear that I am not cheating on my diet, lol 😀

This is genius!! But, I must say you make it look super easy. Most of my baking pans are a bit rounded on the inner edges and my paper (from Costco) does not seem as stiff as yours. However a big improvement to my previous squish it in the corners method! One trick I learned a long time ago is to put some cooking spray in the pan first. It holds the paper in place as you are placing it. I still make old fashioned light and dark Christmas cake every year - you know, the kind that everyone makes fun of!! I line the pans with two layer of heavy brown paper so can hardly wait to use your great tip.

Here is the tip for cake : if your cake turn out too dry then put some water in another pot or tray in oven bottom shelf throughout baking process... the steam of water will help to moist the cake and prevent it from dryness

TYFS - so, I’m in my 50’s 😳🤭, & have been baking ALL my life, & I’ve taken the home economics class in high school, how has no one ever taught 🤓 me this? I’ve seen people with lined pans after the item has been baked, & then of course, they easily lift it out but, I’ve never seen a clear demonstration 😱🤗!
I’ve always used a non stick spray or greased & floured my pans. I’m looking forward to giving this a try next time I’m making some brownies etc. Thank you 🙏🏻 for reminding me why I’m subscribed to your channel!
Have a great day 😃!

Or you could turn the pan upside down, form the paper onto it, right side up, drop in

Just blew my freaking mind! I've only been doing the bottoms because of the corners!

I learned this tip back in early 80s cook class at school.

I've been doing the folding part, not exactly like that, but more estimating. Forgot about snipping the corner edges. That might help get the wrinkles on the edge out.
