A crossover can you a height advantage which is helpful when negotiating both traffic and off-road obstacles. Taller vehicles like a CUV can provide ample interior room in the form of more cargo space. Larger crossovers also come with AWD which helps to navigate tough terrain.

First time buyers more often purchase a sedan. There is always going to be a place for sedans as they offer unrivaled performance.

The problem with thinking that in your CUV or SUV you can see over everything when driving down the road is that everyone else has a CUV, SUV, Pickup Truck etc.so in reality you don't have the better view anymore

My first ride back in the 90s was an SUV. I had been driving SUVs since, until recently, when I got a sedan. SUVs do offer the more practical cargo area, but that's about it. Sedans (mine and the ones I've rented) are much less clumsy on the road. They handle and stop way better and, for this reason, are a lot more fun to drive than SUVs or minivans.

I went from a 2 door car to an SUV now I am ready to switch to a Sedan.

Having driven both and primarily on decent roads I would prefer the Sedan for the comfort superb handling fuel efficiency and high speed stability. The SUV is that show off thingy that is more suited for relaxed drives especially over bad roads and no-roads

I like the smaller SUVS versus bigger ones. Mainly for the maneuverability of a sedan, but with a bit higher ride height. Also CUVs are a pleasure to get in and out of versus a sedan, especially if you got bad knees 😂

Suvs always have very poor design. They are clumsy, uncomfortable, have poor ergonomics that ends up being bad for the neck and back, poor cargo room for their size, petrol hogs, too high of center gravity making them prone to rollovers, and overall just useless if you live in a developed country. Only reason I think people get them is to put a cushion around their ego, having a status symbol.
I'll stick with sedans. Much zippier, better fuel economy, much better handling, more practical, safer, and much more comfortable. I used to have an suv years ago, then when I got my first hatchback, I never want an suv again (and my neck and back is feeling much better now)

Always a sedan for me. Love the styling while not quite as practical as a crossover, but still practical enough as well. I'm single so I don't need a lot of space. I've driven a few crossovers which I appreciate the higher ride height, but prefer a sedan for more road feel. I got my drivers license twenty years ago & have purchased five vehicles since then, all sedans.

I think it’s sad. Nowadays people all get themselves a SUV or even a pickup truck just for bringing children to school get grocery’s or going on a little trip. Why??? What’s wrong with the “car” ?

How about comparing cuvs to hatchbacks...a far more comparable thing. My vw gti has more cargo room than most cuvs so, contrary to the claim in your video, that is not a good reason ti buy a cuv. I can fit my bike in the back with seats folded which is more than can be done with my friend’s kona
