Interesting to see the full ferry process and what it's like. I really enjoy the scenery from the ferry boat - so pretty as you cruise along. Convenient too that they have a cafe on board for food. Seemed like a pretty smooth boat ride!

Looks like an interesting ferry ride. The traffic to board the ferry looks quite hectic. Threes something special about being on the open ocean. The water looks really calm which is great for a ferry ride.

It seems to be a nice ferry ride. The traffic to board the ferry is bit chaotic. The scenery is beautiful.

Bridges are seen as needed way to connect lot of the island nations cities, but good to see that good ole' ferries are still going strong.

The ferries where I live also require you to leave your vehicle during the ride - at one time you could sit in your car. The views are beautiful in this video

This is something I didn't do on my last trip to NZ. Flew from Wellington to Christchurch. I have it on my bucket list for next time I drive through NZ. I want to go to Picton and then head West along the Fjords and Glaciers.
