Ok, I have to write now. Mode change W/O the app: hold down the rec button, and then click once to four times with the power on/off button... Moreover, the led blinks the mode nr. So easy. None of the testers/influencers knew it. Don't know why- they really should... (to know: I upgraded to the latest SW out of the box, so don't know if it was the reason)

I have one of these. It's pretty good! Couple of things:
The tripod is too flimsy. I wouldn't use it outside. Better, slightly bigger ones aren't expensive.
I wish the horizontal pan could be locked when the gimbal is powered off. It means the phone has to be taken out and the unit powered down and folded up when not in use.
