Is Waves introducing a subscription model surprising, No...was it handled well, No... If I thought Waves was the only plugin manufacturer that would do what they did a week ago, I would be done with them, but the fact is companies exist to make money, I don't use plugins or hardware to make money for them, but I do use gear and plugins because they benefit me. If I think a plugin or hardware is worth the price for what it does for me, I am ok with purchasing it. If not, its a hard pass.

I wanted to share Vocal Rider with you in this video because it a saved me a lot of time and has been valuable in my workflow. Save your compressors, let Vocal Rider "ride the faders!"

Remember, regardless of the manufacturer, only purchase plugins when they actually provide value and help YOU with your workflow and creativity.
