As a black man in America I get the strangest stares when I come driving down the street blasting James Taylor 🤷🏾‍♂️

Gotta be one of James Taylor's most beautiful tunes.

I'm also American African and 💕 James Taylor's music. I am surprised that no one in Hollywood has touched this song yet in any closing movie. This would definitely be a song to use at the end of a good movie

That whole album was the bomb!!! Just turned 65, and I'm a black female. Truly, I state, James Taylor ROCKS!!!

My favorite James Taylor song. The song came out in Fall, 1974, so it reminds me of autumn.

I listened to this many times with my parents when I was a young boy. Now I'm 32 with a wife and kids, surviving Covid and 2021 America. This song hits me deep and personally now.

This is one of my favorites. James's White Album came out my senior year 1977.

A smooth, comforting, fall season kind of song. Thank you James Taylor. ✌️

Life is so hectic, but James Taylor is one of only a handful of recording artists/singers that put me at peace almost immediately. So glad he’s been and always will be a part of my musical life. ‘Love Always’ 1 John 4:8

Going to see James Taylor tomorrow evening in Wichita, Kansas. Hope he plays this song! Arguably his best, imo. Peace to All!

James has had his share of success and trials, yet still was able to compose some of the most thought provoking and insightful music of the 20th Century. This stuff is timeless.

How is it that at the 8/5/2020 there are 100 thumbs down to this piece of profound beauty?

I recently lost my father, this song just reminds me of him. I think I read somewhere that JT wrote this about his father? My father was also a doctor. A brilliant surgeon. And, my father was a stern man whose work ethic and integrity meant everything to him. He was an amazing resilient human being who was loved by so many despite his grouchy disposition because of respect. He commanded respect, not through his words but through he deeds. I don't think I will ever meet another person like my father! I love you Dad!
