Ok this is a video of a photographer describing his experience with EVF. It is good for those who have not used EVF. I am already experienced with EVF. was looking for how to set it up for the best WYSIWYG experience. Because compared to my OM-D, , I find the Nikon EVF wanting. It is not WYSWYG. is it my camera or systemic to the Nikon system or is there a settling I need to tweak? I was hoping for answered did not get those answers from this video.

Thanks there was a lot of evf specific data there that isn’t clear AFAIK in the Nikon manual; specifically the ability to zoom in to check focus via evf.

I need to turn on the evf from sleep when I press the shoot button while it is on sleep mode... Not waiting until I place my eye at the viewfinder.. any ideas?

Lindsay: When shooting in either AFS or Manual mode, the camera will give focus confirmation via beep or color change of focus rectangle or the focus confirmation dot. Yet, when focusing in AFC, you don't get confirmation of any sort. I am used to seeing AFC confirmation on my D750 and D 500. Why is there no AFC confirmation in the Z7 or have I just missed the setting for that? Thanks.

The view finder failed. Can’t automatically switch back and forth to the LCD. Only had the camera for 1 month.
Very disappointed
