Thank you so very much for documenting this Kmart!!!! We lost our Kmart back in January. I really hope another store or business occupies the old building. It is sad seeing it sit there empty.

All kmarts in my area Have closed. I heard there was 9 or 10 of them at one point and have all closed over time with one I think closed in 1995! Everthing in this kmart seems to be going quickly. Of course this place hasn't been updated in 20 years. Great video wallie keep it

Same store manager at this store also was the manager that closed the Edgewood town center Kmart a couple of years ago.

The only other Kmart that I’ve known that has had that look to it (the long store then the triangle entrance with the green roof, that was different from Super K) was the Clifton Park, NY Big K that closed in 2014, a store that my family shopped at a lot... most my school stuff and clothes came from that store- so it’s really cool to see that there was another store with similar architecture... but this one in the video is laid out differently than the Clifton Park one.

It was really sad when Kmart closed down in Mississauga Ontario Canada my memories as a kid in the 1980s to mid 1990s shopping with my mom seeing the blue light in the store distance and wondering what was on sale and remembering getting cotton candy from the machine.

I think that's the case with every Kmart's garden center. You'd be lucky to find a garden center with a few pallets of plants, the entire thing is basically just storage.

Drop ceilings and tile floors- THAT'S why Kmart developed a reputation for being a fantastic retailer. Too bad they didn't continue putting money into their stores, a fresh coat of paint, and most of what made Kmart special could start coming back...
