About five or six years ago, I read an article about an artist who took her stage name from the lyrics of one of my favorite artists, Nick Cave. I decided to check out someone who would do that, and discovered Annie Clark / St. Vincent. I've been a fan ever since .

This morning, I scored tickets to Nick Cave's Boston show in April of 2025. The opening act? St Vincent.

I understand how airplanes work but it kinda surprises me that I just saw her and this band in Raleigh NC two nights before 🙂. Went to the show as a casual fan, now I’m a big fan. Y’all she and the band took us there. Great music, great show. And she hopped into the crowd while singing “New York “.
