Should you use PX or EM with Elementor Fonts?

See an example of what happens with responsive screen sizes when applying Pixels (PX) or EM Units with Elementor's fonts.

yeah this is a tricky one, trying to figure out the best practice in terms of marking it responsive for Big 32 inch desktops and small laptops, doing my head in aye haha

I have all my fonts set in Astra 😁 already and when I change on Desktop the body fonts to 1em is really tiny so have to put it up to 4em but then the forms fonts look huge. Why my body font is so small ( like not readable really ) when yours at 1.5 looks huge and also why are the forms affected and how can I default these to the same body font as the rest of the ? Thanks

Here is a good article from elementor explain the difference between EM & REM
TL;DR
REM is based on the root element (HTML). Every child element that uses REM will then use the HTML root size as its calculation point, regardless of whether or not a parent element has any different sizes specified.
EM on the other hand, is based on the font size of the parent element. If a parent element has a different size than the root element, the EM calculation will be based off of the parent element, and not the root element.
