The Oil Tanker “AGIA ZONI II” sank off Salamina and caused a huge oil spill. Unfortunately, it turned to an ecological disaster after thick tar and oil pollution drifted toward residential coastal areas which effected the Argo – Saronic gulf and beaches from Piraeus to Lagonisi.

The rapid and major expand of the oil spill set the contribution of Antipollution as crucial requirement. According to our environmental ethics and our inflated sense of responsibility, the specialized Antipollution team successfully undertook the clean up of the coasts in order to restrict the pollution aspects of the accident and sustain the integrity of the certain ecosystem.
