This song will always make my inner child cry.. I am a survivor of abuse of 13 years.. my mother was very physically, mentally and emotionally abusive.. my father rescued me when I was 13 years old and sent me to my grandmother's to live... Now 28 I still have nightmares of her and that little boy who didn't deserve it.. this song makes me feel safe and secure.. and when the bridge hit and the raw screaming came through I started to cry... The same raw screaming I use to do internally at the time of the abuse... Thank you for covering such an iconic song that saved millions
