This is Aizome

Aizome is Japanese for the art of dyeing textiles with indigo plants. To the old Japanese Aizome was more than just a color. Indigo dyed textiles were known to help wounded Surai warriors to heal and new born babies were wrapped in indigo blankets. Today, with science, we understand that indeed, indigo dyed textiles are highly antibacterial and help people with sensitive skin to rest without itching or irritations. Unfortunately all indigo dyed textiles like your jeans, or really any other kind of textile, are dyed with synthetic colors. Those colors are made mostly from coal and oil. We wanted to bring the good of natural dyeing back started to make the first plant dyed bedding specifically for people with sensitive skin.
