Literally just back from the range where me and my dad tried the MP18 range. The blades are soooo sweet when hit right and the SC were also lovely. Tried them against the Titleist CBs and much preferred the MP18s!

I've just bought a used set of MP54 to replace my stolen MP52s. If I was buying new, I reckon the MP18SC and MMC would be right at the top of my list. I play off about 15 but can't stand looking down at chunky irons. We're here to play this game properly, nobody said it should be easy.

Hey Mark, loving the on-course videos. I have watched 5 or 6 now and it seems to me you play exactly the same every time, no matter which clubs you have in your hand (which goes along perfectly with what you have been preaching now for some time)! Great lesson there. Even though I know the clubs don't make a huge difference, I still love watching the reviews and staying up with the latest offerings. Keep it up, mate! Cheers.

I have tried them all. I would pit in my bag the MP18 PW-7 MP18SC 6-4 MP18MCC 3-2 irons in a mix setup . I do use a hybrid, but I am always changing what's in my bag depending on the course I play and conditions, if its really windy (like this week with hurricane Irma)leaving a 3 iron to keep ball low out of the wind. I love the feel of the 18's and SC, Just like my MP5. they are surprisingly as easy to hit as my MP5 irons and same exact distance numbers.

I've been playing a combo of ap1/ap2 710s for years and love the set. For me having a little more to look at on my 5/6 irons gives me more confidence. I'll definetly be checking these out as a comparison to mine.

I've got MP18 PW-8 and love them. LOVE the feel. I have SC's 7-5 and am updating to FliHi in the 4. May update my 5 to the MMC for more forgiveness and confidence. Just not striking the 5 as good as I'd like. Love them collectively and the looks are incredible. Gorgeous looking irons and blend seemlessly.

I'd love to see a combo review of the fli-hi vs the mp-h5 and hybrids on that hole you just overshot with the mmc ones.

Got to test all of them last weekend... I didn't notice any difference between them. Loved the feel and sound. The result depended more on me striking the ball, not so much on the design of the club. Loved the longer irons, even in the blades, even got the 4 iron to spin back two yards from 190 out :-)

Great review...wasn't sure about the new naming convention for the MP irons, but sort of liking it now, similar shape and size to all MP-18 irons, but different technology to give you a little help in the SC and MMC, great for making combo sets.

Here is something people should know.
Got fit yesterday for mp18sc. Full set.
Mizuno only supply a 6 iron in the various styles for you to test and try shafts.
So how do you blend when you can only try the
mmc and fli-hi have diff lofts. So how do you do the gapping with a blended set???

I have decided that your filming including drone footage, editing and production is as good if not better than Sky Sports. I think they need to employ you, just look what you could do for the game. Then again they prob could not afford you. Also have I missed something but don't you work at the range anymore ?

I tried these a couple of weeks ago and they are a delight to hit. For me the gave a consistent pronounced draw shape which I would want less of in the shorter irons but completely controllable in longer irons. Sadly for Mizuno I have just ordered new M1s, but I think a combo set of MMCs 5-7 and SC 8-PW would be ideal for me

Hey Mark great job with the reviews! I'm going to combo the MP-18s going with the MMC 6 and 7 irons 8 and 9 will be the SC's PW will be the MP-18 blades. Can't wait to get them. I'll be keeping my MP-25MP-5 combo just in case they don't preform. I think my combo of the 25/5s will spin more but we'll see.

MMC appears to be the successor to the MP-15. Current set is MP-5 (9-7) / MP-15 (6-4). Love that setup. Would be curious how an MP-18 MB / MMC combo would stack up.
