Great video mate. I picked up a hero 5 last week and been using it for vlogging since... when I had the audio in automatic it was so bad that the background noise was louder than my voice. Putting it in stereo kinda solves it. I'm happy with it so far.

Really cool video! I have 2 GoPro 4s, and I have been using them for couple of months already for some of my posts I will be uploading soon! Some of my favorite usages are:

- Timelapse, when I shoot for example at the same location for about an hour, I set one of my GoPro and shoot timelapse from the beginning to end, and you can see how environment changes for example from sunset to night
- mount it on the hot shoe of my DSLR, so I can get video from my POV!
- For Audio, I don't really like it, I still use microphone on my H1 recorder

But anyway, GoPro is really one of my recent great purchase, really enjoy playing with it! Unfortunately the batter I s not so strong, and I need to plug it in to external battery pack quite often!

Great video Nick. This has been the most unique in-depth review I have seen on Youtube. I have been thinking on getting one for vlogs and you answered a few question that I had such as the ability to remote record with the app and the ability to connect an external mic. I would have loved if you had gone to the frame of the go pro and connections entrances in the video. Otherwise, It was a great video. Excellent job.

That wind noise was awful man haha. Awesome quality though and discreet which is good to prevent people looking at you funny when vlogging day to day. The external mic feature is good though.
