I love how the ending shot with Po-uta laying down in a field of flowers is a subtle reference to the album art for Nurture (...where Porter Robinson does exactly that, minus the parachute)

i think this song becomes better after having listened to better off worse. not just to lighten the mood but it helps people read into the lyrics more and understand more of the actual meaning, about circus's feelings about making songs for so long.
admittedly i haven't listened to porter robinson's music much but this seems like something he'd sing. so i think po-uta was a very good vocalist choice.

this song is really good for a lot of reasons. it's really well done, and it's nice to see a song that isn't playing into the idea of "art is only good when it's dark" because a lot of vocaloid music is essentially a display of personal suffering, and while it isn't at all wrong to like or create dark music, it becomes unhealthy when people act like that's the only kind that's good. i'm fairly new to most of this artist's music but after hearing better off worse (+ having listened to a couple of the darker songs for hours on end when i was younger) this song gives a sense of healing and growth. as an artist who grew up thinking my work was only good when it projected pain and unhappiness, this hits close to home in the best way possible.

If you look closely po-uta wears his jacket over the parachute. The top straps are only visible when he takes it off. Probably not very comfortable since those things are quite bulky.

this is the first song i've heard using Po-Uta vocals since the demo and OMGGG Right as Rain pops tf off!!!! the bridge lyrics are esp hitting me hard at this point in my life and the way the drop goes at 1:13 like👌_*chef's kiss*_ didn't ask for a masterpiece on this rainy weekend but we sure were served one (also this MV's graphics are insane!)

I don't know how to put it into words but all the other famous songs flying shows that everyone is together in the same sky, and that going in to try and be popular and famous is a dangerous thing, but if you reach that someone that needs it they can have something to comfort them and help them heal.

I havent commented yet so i wanted to make sure i did - this song makes me SOOO emotional....between the meaning of the song and choosing po-uta as the final vocalist and his symbolism as a vocaloid and the art with all its references. I wanted to hear if anyone has made music with Po-uta's voice pack, and holy cow this song is amazing! I absolutely love how deeply unique the lyrics are and the music video is phenomenal. This music feels so good, I love the slow ramp up to the main beat chorus. Letting the lyrics lead the song, until the lyrics talk about reality of not seeing hopeful skies at 00:23. Then that huge drop at 00:41 feels so good with the lyrics "Tore my heart as I threw it into the crowd!" Man I want to share all my favorite aspects of this song, but it'll be too long! lol

I love the art style, animation, and how it compliments the lyrics so much too. Almost has a video game look during most the songs, then the more emotional parts show a great compositional shot.
