My hearing disability make me mishear things due to my brain automatically and subconsciously filling in the blanks so I understand this thing. People may say something and I actually hear something else. This is just how we function with limited information, we subconsciously guess so we do not even know that we got it wrong. And this isn't just in the now, we fill in the blanks of our memories as well, especially if preassured to recall them,
