I didn’t even like football until the age of 9 and didn’t join a football club until I was 11, 2 years later I’m one of the key players of my local side. It feels good to reach this level after the rejection and hate I’ve received, I’ve just got to keep going and not develop an ego like the players around me. I thank my semi-pro dad and my coaches for all I’ve been able to do, if it wasn’t for my first coach who coaches my first club thinking I’m a CM, I would’ve never done this well. i grew up in the UAE and Qatar and was surrounded by people who loved football while i didnt like sports at all until i turned 10 and started getting into football. I knew how to do a few skills within 3 months while it may have taken a year or so to get those skills for other people but I had a very big problem and it was me being overweight. I didn't even join a team until I moved to Pakistan where i joined a local team at age 14 and since i was pretty fat they put me in defence but now its been year since I joined this team and i am currently a key player for the U-18 team as a LB, still working on losing more weight, was at 85kg at 14 to now 70kg at 15.

I am 15 and struggle because i played football when i was a kid until 11, now every day i struggle with the thoughts if i should start. In my city i have two clubs and in the better one everyone were making fun of me and i see them often so they recognise me. I play basketball for 3 months but deeply i know it wont make me happy like football makes.
