iPhone X or iPhone 8 Plus - Which Should You Choose?

I go over the differences of the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus after using them for a few weeks.

Battery life seems exceptional on the iPhone 8 Plus for me. I keep getting around 9 to 9.50 hrs usage time and 45 hrs standby time. I went with the 8 plus over the x due to the notch, better battery life, lack of Home id and Touch ID, and Face ID I could care less about

Went for the 8 Plus over the X and I love it.
Nice upgrade from 7 Plus still. The battery is amazing. Lasts forever. Wireless charging and Tru tone is awesome.

If you want to upgrade and you are using the iPhone 6, 6s, 6plus, 7, 7plus,
then go for the iPhone X, because there is not a huge difference between them and iPhone 8plus
but if you are using any older iPhone, and want to upgrade while saving money, go for the iPhone 8plus
simple as that

I bought the iPhone 8 Plus. The reason behind my purchase is that there is absolutely nothing about the iPhone X that makes it worth the money! It is lacking in so many ways! Apple could have done so much better with the design and overall functionality of the iPhone X. Sure there is a face sensing system on the front that creates a poorly designed display, Snapchat already does a very good job of facial recognition through the front camera on any iPhone before the X. Not to mention that it is horribly slow and lacks in security, which was way overhyped! I absolutely love Apple products! I had the first gen iPhone, didn’t like it, went to android for a while. I came back to iPhone with iPhone 6 Plus and have purchased every iPhone since, except for the X. I also have an iPad Pro (first gen 12.9”) also an iPad mini 3 and an Apple Watch series 1. Apple could have done way better about playing catch-up with the competition!!

I’ve an iPhone 5s and I love it! I’ve chosen for “older”, but it is my personal preference. I’ve the latest iOS (not the beta), it runs good enough to be my daily device!

iPhone X feels like a beta product while 8 plus feels like all shortcomings have been fixed and its a solid good phone.
