GameTout: Zelda U Delayed

So Zelda for the Wii U is officially delayed and won't be making it for a 2015 release. I am not mad just disappointed. OoT was delayed and a lot of other Zelda games were delayed to polish the games. Which I am cool with. I just hope it isn't the reason isn't so that they can put the game on the NX like they did with Twilight Princess. I paid money for the Wii U so that I can play Zelda on there. I only think that because why in the world would they not show any of Zelda U at E3? That is just strange.

You don't have to worry about Star Fox, it's already been confirmed that the motion controls are optional.

Anyway, in regards to Zelda, I have faith in Aonuma's words that the only reason the game is being delayed is for implementation of new ideas to make it an even more complete and expansive experience; at least with Twilight Princess, they were upfront with us regarding porting the game to the next console. I sure as hell hope that's not the case here, because I'm still pissed off about having to wait a month to play the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess; develop Zelda U for the Wii U ONLY, and release it on that system ONLY. Or I'll be mad.

I don't mind the delay myself, but I agree, snubbing us at E3 is a huge disappointment.

Well this is the Gamepad where talking about, so it makes sense to not go into motion controls to deeply as they did with Wii and the Wii-remote.

As for Zelda U, I'm happy that they are extending it for positive reasons, trying to really see how much they can do with the WiiU.
But I do wonder what will be their next big game be this year. I mean it is Mario's 30th anniversary as well, so Mario Maker could be it. But of course there is also Star Fox and it's been so long since Nintendo has made another Star Fox game.

Wow this is not like me to miss this info....delayed?  NX?  The hell?  LOL Haven't even heard of the NX yet either....guess I've been devoting too much time looking for updates on the Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor that's FINALLY going to be developed.  Hit up www.playtonicgames.com if you haven't heard of this, Michael!  As a Banjo fan yourself I'm sure you will be stoked about that!  I'm fine with the delay too, to be honest, as I wouldn't want a rushed product either (though parts of the Triforce quest were okay, I still wanted at least one more dungeon maybe...).  Besides I'm still looking very much forward to your game too!
