YYYY-MM-DD is better than any of the other formats. That way the combined code (like 2025-02-24) only goes up, making it easy to sort in electronic systems.

Day/month/year is the only that makes sense to me, days are a part of the month and the month is a part of the year, it follows the order

Not american but our country uses the mm/dd/yy format
Just got used to it, my reason is when we ask what's the date we just simply say (month)(day) rather than (day)/st/nd/rd/th of (month). or when we look at our phones month comes first then day, at last year.

Personally I do Day, Initials of Month, Full Year. So something like “28 Feb 2025”, because this method is the simplest way to eliminate any potential confusion.
