I didn't want my wife's Bane to be heavy, so cut out an old piece of pvc pipe insulation, formed into a one inch ball, tied around that with different colored 395 paracord. Used one of her old pieces of broken ear ring for decoration and tied it like yours. Much thanks for the gr8 tuts, very easy to follow along with you Tim, you do outstanding vids.

I made a bola similar to this but it has a monkey fist on both ends with a couple feet of braid in between.

The problem I run into is tightening, when I take the slack out, two side get too tight and tighten onto them selves and the. The other I can see the ball through. What am I doing wrong?

At the bead section. If i do not have a bead like the one showed in the video what kind of knot do you recommend to replace that. I heard you mentioned a diamond knot and I'm simply wondering if a Matthews walker knot would work as well since that's a lot easier for me to do

question: I have a wide mouth (1" or so) Slide Bolt Spring Snap, Swivel and obviously the opening is wider than the snap shackle in your example, is there a way to double weave or widen out the weave where my swivel is added to the paracord chain so that it's not just sliding in the gaps?

I have such a hard time tightening the monkeyfist, everything else I am pretty confident with but once it is time to singe it up I just cant do it
