For those that are saying that it's the sunken eyes illusion or something similar: Look at the close-up of the pink one - thr eye stared at the player for a moment before moving back ever so slightly while the player is standing in place

Not only do they subtly look at you but I noticed in my first playthrough that they actually move as well. I came to a part in the map where there were two doorways, one with a long hallway and another with a little pink one all the way at the end. I hadn’t seen them before so I thought it was a pink slide that I hadn’t already seen so I go down the hallway instead to get to the basement area. I realized that this hallway was the wrong way as well so I turn back and head down the other way and instead of seeing the little pink guy at the end, he was suddenly green when I know it wasn’t before. This game genuinely does a great job in making you question yourself and your sanity.

It would be a crazy game if the MC started in a mental hospital without explanation, and in the beginning, a doctor comes by and explains a few symptoms. Later, you are randomly teleported to a hellish area and you experience things that are exactly what that doctor said, but as the story progresses, it gets scarier and more random to the point where it’s no longer just you…

A statue was staring at you, you noticed, its eye darts away, now you know you arent alone, now you know why you get that feeling of being watched.*

The way they're eyes move is how I thought the eyes of my plushie was growing up it looked like someone was watching me

looks easy, can just morph the pupil so it recesses into the head a little bit, and a few moments of looking at it it morphs back out. Doesn't even have to track your position, it's an optical illusion.

I thought it was an optical illusion at first (making the eyes bulge inward so it looks like you're being stared at at all times) but nevermind that eye actually moved

bro, this is my nightmares, I am so paranoid of people looking at me/ staring at me, I go crazy moments after I think someone is looking at me, this would easily drive me insane
