I wish builders in this size boat range would break away from the tired cookie cutter layout and optimize the location and utilization of the spaces.

Why put the kitchen area in the cabin ? i get the builders/designers of these boats probably have real yachts and never use a boat this size or have spent a long weekend on a boat this size. However, get rid of the cabin kitchen and dining areas and move it to the outside cockpit area where cooking wont stink up your cabin or make you feel like you are cooking in a tomb. Move it to outside as a permanent fixture or even a removable and stowable bbq.

Use the cabin only for sleeping, bathroom, and watching tv with 2 Berth that don't need to be converted from dining to sleeping. move the dining table to the cockpit area where you can enjoy the views and make it so it can be stowed away when not in use. For bad weather situations utilize easy drop down eisenglass and provide cockpit AC as an option with the eisenglass down.

When out for the weekend with family and kids you don't want to keep converting from sleeping area to dining and having to move and put away everything on the bed or table each night. Nor stink up the cabin with a real meal . These boats are not really optimized for a family with even 1 kid or spending more than a weekend at best overnight . This is way most boats this size become underutilized for overnights and the cabin becomes nothing but overly expensive storage.
