I enjoyed gap. I was ready to move on and they sold us on the relationship - IDF did. These ladies played the fanbase. Made a little girl and her family seem like liars. I understand a lot of people are disappointed in the fact that FreenBeck isn’t real. But Freen and Beck weren’t trying to deceive fans or give them false hope. They are public figures, and part of their job is to promote their project the best they can. They are also under contracts, so they have certain obligations they have to fulfill regarding fan-service and such. Even though Freen and Becky may be really close in real life, like they see each other as sisters, part of their job is to make it look like they are actually together as much as possible to build their fanbase. But they will never outright say that they are together, because then of course that is flat out lying. Freen and Beck’s personal lives should also be kept private. They are human beings with the same human emotions as all of us, and deserve privacy. Especially in for their kind of lives where they are constantly in the spotlight. It’s crazy how Freen’s personal business was exploited like this and it should have never happened. It is a huge safety concern. It’s just disappointing to see that some “fans” aren’t more understanding and supportive of them. Real fans would just appreciate the beauty of FB’s relationship/friendship, and respect their privacy bc they are human beings! You also can’t believe everything you see on the internet. The entertainment industry knows that fans are very easily influenced and susceptible to becoming attached to public figures.

Everybody involved in this ruse had a mouth & a brain, & could have spoken up, esp Freen. She's the one who was hiding a bf. No wonder Freen's & Becky's parents were so cool w/ their relationship; they knew that there was nothing to it; their daughters were straight. Welp, the FB gravy train has derailed. Instead, they elected to be coy, leading a lot of people to have false hope that for once, real queers had been playing lesbians who were actually attracted to each other. It will be a long time before I can watch GAP & GAP videos again, not bc Freen has a bf, but bc dishonesty always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

-becky knew from the beginning -what is presented to the fans is only acting because that is their work
