The internet is kinda like humanity's subconscious. It's where all our repressed chaos comes out.

People descend into echo chambers, become deeply entrenched and radicalized

The only cure is to touch grass and talk to people IRL

The internet is like mind reading, some things are only left unsaid because of their consequences. The internet removes that threat and capitalizes on that.

This is pretty true especially for me. In my teens I became an Atheist mainly because of the problem of evil. Eventually I told my family since it came up in the conversation and they had asked me due to my response.

They didn't insult me but most were confused.

In school when I was asked, I answered honestly and they thought it was strange as well.

So when I went online to YouTube back when TJ KIRK was the most popular anti SJW and Atheist, I found a large community that echoed my feelings on religion and religious people.

I felt, growing up, that alot of people were faking their smiles to each other and would then gossip the moment they leave. It happened frequently In family and school.

So I hear Christians saying "be Christ like" in one breath then partying, having casual sex, and spectating fist fights the next day.

It grew a lot of bitterness towards religion and it's followers but it never bore out in my action since everyone around me was religious.

Point being, the internet can psyche up a community that FEELS persecuted even if a small portion of them are and when I heard stories of how Atheist children were kicked out of the home by their parents because of their religious view, it helped build a hatred to the average Christian.

Internet is great! But damn we have grown some insane communities that even now are influencing my family members.

Maybe don't put subtitles right over her face? Really strange to cover an interviewee's face with a logo and subtitles, wtf

I stopped interacting with the trans community online years ago. It is very toxic in many ways. I just interact with people in real life, cis people mostly.

Funny, I thought the internet became fascist when google teamed up with the CIA and literally merged the government with capital AKA the definition of fascism.

Prove your point: "I've seen it"

I am surprised she is saying this considering the definition of fascism is exactly what happened to her when she was canceled by woke liberals for expressing her own opinions!

Contra, contra contra. Please babe, I beg you probe deeper my love anyone could say this. How does the exposer of all this hidden hate affect society now? How do we digest, react, conform, fight or justify now that Pandora’s box has been let loose. And what is the role of the last item - hope? You know “the thing with feathers that perches in the soul”? Or more colloquially Obama’s first campaign…
