The video that brought me to DCS. The sounds, the graphic, how real all is. The whole mission. If you can fly the MiG in DCS than you can it in real life, except to handle the G-Force. This game is extreme realistic.

Just have one thing to add to everybody's critique of your mission. It's usually a pretty good idea to keep that base to final turn coordinated. Especially in a high performance plane with a high wing loading. Would suck to spin it into the ground after saving the Motherland.

As a former B52 pilot, flying 50 missions over Viet Nam, it is interesting to me reading the comments. First of all, our Arc Light missions were all flown over south Viet Nam and no fighter escort. Secondly our planes were not spaced out as depicted in the video. Either we flew in three ship formations or had individual missions. I have been chased by a Mig 21, but that was in another aircraft. I flew an unarmed recon RB66 and could out maneuver the Mig. They had to be able to lock on to me for four seconds prior to release of a missile. All I had to do was detect the lock on and due an evasive maneuver, and watch them have to start all over. Did this for 45 minutes before returning to base. It was kind of funny watching them look around to see where I went.

Que coincidência! Hoje um Caça Mig 21 interceptou RC-135, um avião americana. 🇺🇲👀🇷🇺

Qualidade absurda do vídeo!

I love the soviet attitude gauge because it actually makes sense, it shows you what angle you're at

I facepalm every time I see someone take more than a minute to start this fighter, especially in a rush..
Don't flip everything at the start, comrade, it takes 45 seconds for the engine to spool up, use that time to turn things on..
And your heading, radionavigation, everything, it takes like 5 minutes to taxi to the runway, you can do that then, it's a scramble, the security of the soviet union depends on your ability to quickly react to a surprise attack! C'mon man, :D

Realistic, you can hear the wind, even ''feel'' when the plane lands, and that beeping sound reminds me some apocalyptic old movies.
