Im getting festive way in advance for 2013. Keen to hear the tasting review. Seemed like small amounts of spices so keen to see their strength...

I probably would've used more spices, but I was following the recipe in the book... I must say, it's aged for a year and the nutmeg seems to have taken over in a good way... I'll try to do a review soon, but holidays are getting in the way! Cheers!

Cool, thanks for the update. I suspect nutmeg would add some body to the spices - something dull in the background spice-wise to fill it out more? I'll wait for the review! CHEERS!

@MrSchpankme - Yeah... I would put this, barleywine and Strong Scotch ale as beers that are better when aged.... but why not try them along the way and see how they progress?...
