When to use: The McGeady spin is the single most effective move for getting around an opposing defender. The McGeady spin is especially lethal when you are running on an angle with a defending player directly next to you and you want to make a change in direction more towards the inside of the field (this specific example is highlighted and exemplified numerous times in the video). The McGeady Spin is highly effective versus user defense, "A" button or Contain defense, and "RB" or Teammate Contain defense. The McGeady Spin requires a five star skiller, but, the move is exceptionally effective when the skiller who is attempting the move has high Strength and/or Acceleration ratings. Players who fit this mold are Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Franck Ribery, Wallyson, and Aiden McGeady. The McGeady Spin will leave the opposing defender in the dust and lead to wonderful scoring opportunities. The McGeady Spin exemplifies the important need to have a five star skiller simply because of the problems this skill move causes for the opposing player.
Controls: hold LT then flick the RIGHT STICK in the direction you are currently moving, then flick the RIGHT STICK in the direction you wish to turn towards.
McGeady Spin Left: LT + RS up (direction you are moving) then RS left (left of direction you are moving)
McGeady Spin Right: LT + RS up (direction you are moving) then RS right (right of direction you are moving)
