A Downtown Condo With Bold Color, Pattern and Vintage Style

According to Toronto designer Cori Halpern, every project starts with something magical. “For this one, it was the drapery fabric because there are so many windows” she says. “It had to be a statement.” The 1660-square-foot unit was a white box until Cori transformed every inch of it with color, pattern, art and mid century-inspired elements.

This is probably THE best home I have seen till today in house and home videos! It has characters, a soul, life and although it is not my cup of tea, the owner haven't went with this new trend on the market but they followed their heart. Lovely!

I love the credenza and the kitchen and the gallery wall and all the furniture. Fantastic! The only thing that feels off for the nature of the space( being a condo) are the drapes. Love the fabric by itself but it looks jarring with the view.

Finally! Color, interesting fabric, a bow to the Feminine with the rounded corners and a sense of personality as opposed to all the dreadfully boring all white spaces. My only concern is the 35th floor. Hopefully, they will find a way to stay healthy, grounded and sane at such an unnatural height. All that color is so enlivening! 💐

Yes! A renovation with gorgeous, beautiful colour. I love English design in fabric and wallpaper and to see them juxtaposed against mid-century design is unexpectedly wonderful! I do not like mid-century all that much as I’m definitely a traditionalist, but I would happily live in this space forever! Just exceptional design!
