Thank you for the show about Rough Rider. I'm in my sixties and I remember being given an old wooden Velveeta cheese box, full of old knives from the 40s 50s and 60s. They shouldn't have given them to me in my teens, I lost them all but about four or five the rest I have given to my boys who are not boys anymore. Point being Rough Rider will allow me to get some of those looks back! The Carbon steel blade whittler that I'm getting is going straight in a potato, possibly mustard! I'm going to give Rough Rider a try, it may be a beautiful relationship LOL👍👍🤠🤠🎯🎯

I have several Rough Ryder knives and have just bought the RR182, like all of my other RR knives the quality is far more than the price suggests.

I just recently learned that you guys on the Roughrider brand. I have bought a few Over the years and enjoyed them. I’m intrigued By the reserve series it’s like an affordable high-end traditional knife.

Thanks TC! I will be jumping on that RRR012 Denim Micarta Lockstock. Love my Rough Ryders, I’ve got two and one on order from you guys. The quality of these knives is killer! I plan on scooping up as many as I can before our trade relations with China goes entirely down the tubes. Hope it doesn’t come to that. We need to all get along on this lovely planet.

D2 looks good if you stone wash it. I did it with my okc rat 1. Funny thing about that.. I forced a patina on the blade with vinegar, but I connected a 12v battery to the blade to try and speed up the process.. well my copper wire was exposed in the liquid and copper plated it. Giving it a coppery stone wash.. I call it a copper vein finish!

I really like the thought and design of the Rough Ryder Reserve knives but they would turn into must-buys for me if you started offering some of them with bone handles. Micarta is fine occasionally but nothing beats jigged bone for a beautiful knife. A Reserve quality knife with bone handles would be so awesome!

Digging that Lockstock. If it had a straight edge blade I'd definitely pick one up. Might get one anyway.

Nice knives. You sticker wall would look nice with some stickers from the You Tube knife reviewers such as Knife Chats with Tobias and Thrifty Kaniffy etc. That RRR Gun Stock would look good with a checkered wood handle just like a real gun stock.

I was excited to see the Wasp Barlow with the opposing nail nicks. Hoping you will offer opposing nail nick barlows in other handle finishes in the futures (not a fan of the wasp). Also, not a fan of half-stops on barlows, that’s why I only have the white bone barlow at present - no half-stops!

I have a particular fondness for the Classic Carbon II line. Just beautiful, and like all my RR knives, highly functional.

Hey TC, it was nice of you to say “avid” rather than “rabid” about your RR fans. Lol. Lockstock looks like a great knife. Getting micarta’ed out — I’d like to see some bone or wood covers on the RRRs. And more gunstocks from you guys. The cattleman is cool, but I’d rather have a spear main blade. Love the new cinnamon series, with no big R, no shield, no blade etch — just a gorgeous, simple, well-made knife. Going to be buying some of those! A teardrop would be excellent in that series. The pipe doc is a genius design, glad to see it turn up in a series. The wasps and Tuff Stags aren’t my jam, but variety is what brings us to RR. IN CONCLUSION: keep ‘em coming! Put a spear-point blade on everything! Single-bladers are cool! The teardrop jack is a very-nearly perfect pattern — please make more. Thanks.

Your website states the wasp series as having vg10 steel, just a heads up
