I put all the wires in the plug. Turned the power on and it did show voltage. I screwed the light in the mount and the light turned on. Now it doesn't want to turn on. Do I have to reset the mount so it hooks up to the prongs. Maybe I need to screw it in harder. Thanks for your help.

Is there an always on mode? For example, my old lights that I currently have, if you flip the lights on and off 3 times, the light stays on until I flip switch to off position.
