Carbon Paper Hack

I never knew, how flammable this was until a lad a work said that it was classed as Dangerous Goods! Since I was taking some overseas via Aircraft I thought I'd check it out!

I do like how compact you can fold it down to & therefore it can pretty much fit anywhere, also it's reasonably cheap to buy instead of buying fancy firestarters!

Does leave your hands blue though 🙃

Being a former old-school classroom teacher, I used to have reams of old carbon paper used for art projects and the such...never even gave it a thought for this purpose...duh...thanks so much for sharing and I now know what good use to put it if I run across some more...

Something else I haven't seen or thought of, but unless you're a crayon muncher, why would you even know what Carbon Paper was. I can't recall the last time that was used during typing to get a 'carbon copy'. Anyway, not having a Scooby Doo about the constituency of Carbon Paper, I have to guess/assume that is is like Charred Cloth and hence its ability to take a spark.. BTW, I am a great believer in using natural papers for starting a fire - as long as it is dry, but it can be found almost everywhere - I have far more chance of finding some wrapping paper than I do Birch Bark where I live. Does it leave black marks on your fingers after folding it?
