1 Day as a WINDSURF TOURIST in El Médano, Tenerife | Spotguide

I did my first windsurf trip here and learned to waterstart at el Medano. The teacher just told me to go out about 200 meters and jump in the water, and I wasen't allowed to come back untill I did a waterstart :) As a beginner I learned more here in a week than I would in a month at most other spots probably. Love it!

Have been in El Medano as a beginner. Learnt water starting there. It was absolute chaos 😂 Drank a lot of sea water. But to be honest 110, - rental for 1 day is crazy.

great video! I'm so in love with el médano... as is the only spot I know!!!
anyway, you got a really strange day. mostly choppie with the NE, only 15 days per year we have a SW wind or so that makes a fabulous flat water and strong winds.
not a begginners spot, but I learnt 5 years ago with my old school gear, so with the newer ones not so difficult. and must say you just went to the most expensive rental but probably the best. don't understand how they had the sail not trimmed as they work with the PWA guys and are as I said probably the best rental.
I have to check the video in slow motion for if I was sailing that day and appear on the background!

Great video man! just curious, why did you choose racing board 121? it's not too big board for these spot? have you tried to sail with smaller boards?

Hey Mario, erzähl doch ein bisschen was über das Brett. Wir sind nicht alle völlig vertraut mit dem Lineup von future fly. What do you think about the ezzy cheetah? I am curious to hear your opinion, usually Ezzy’s are pretty straight forward to rig: they have calibrated downhaul and outhaul. Was it the ezzy mast or another brand?
