This robot is so compact and nice looking. The function is jaw dropping but the form is also amazing. Wow.

The current world record for a human solving this cube is about 6 seconds. Let's see this robot beat that record. It's possible if the AI ram is large enough, the processing it fast enough, and the mechanics are worked out to deal wit the inertia of moving faster.

Why scan all 6 sides? Couldn’t you just scan 5 and estimate the 6th?

Ive built this for myself but it sadly never actually solves it. The flippers will always miss the cube at least once and therefore throw off the whole algorithm.

I guess you need to know how to solve a Rubik's cube to program something to solve it. I can do neither, so this appears yo be some aort of black magic or voodoo.
