O-line and backs were more physical then they've been in years

Colorado’s run defense is suspect! If the buffs can’t stop the run it will be a long night for Colorado.

It was great to see a genuine commitment to the Running game. We have some very talented Backs, with all sorts of potential. I was sure though we'd get a long Touchdown run in the second half. Kind of disappointed that didn't happen. Haarberg probably should have played more than just one series. Dowdell didn't get back in after the fumble in the early second quarter. Irvin looked like a monster. No hesitancy after all the injuries. He showed real burst and trust. Rahmier Johson had one amazing twisting turning tackle breaking run. Emmitt Johnson was trying to make sure he had both hands on the ball, or I think he would have scored on that long run. Nothing settled as to who the top running back will be. Dowdell appeared to be Running away with it before the turnover. We should have scored on that drive. To be fair, Irvin if he had been in there might have looked about the same as Dowdell did. They are both two big, powerful, physical backs and they were hitting the holes very quickly. I felt sorry for Mazzuca that he couldn't get in the endzone. He was trying. Our receivers looked impressive.

O line looked best they’ve looked in a decade. Receivers and RB are amazing, defense is amazing as usual.

This team shows a lot of promise. This is quite a turnaround from how bad it's been for the last 7 years. I enjoyed the young kids getting to play and play well. With regard to Fidone, he is, unfortunately, very overrated as a catcher and he is afraid or doesn't care to block.
