I am definitely waiting for the iPhone 15 pro. I am very satisfied with my iPhone 13 pro Max and it’s battery life. But when traveling would love to use one cable to charge iPad, iPhone and Mac so USB-C would be legit

Getting a new iPhone should not be based solely on features. There will always be a next big thing. If you need a new iPhone, get a new iPhone. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are solid options for users upgrading from an iPhone 8, XS, or even 12.

A huge selling point of the Pro models for me is that they have all the features of the Pro Max models in smaller form factor which I adore. If apple release an ultra, with additional features which is too big for me, it will make me seriously consider switching over to a top of the line Android phone so I don’t feel left out!

I own the iPhone 11 Pro…. I am very close to buying the 14 Pro but I don’t know if I want to get the 15 Pro because I’m hoping for a change on the design on the back of the phone and the 15 could look different.

3:17 correction, we did get pill and hole . Not full pill . Since under an angle you can actually see the cut out, they just turn off the pixel in between those two cut out .

95% of android phone still use USB 2.0 on their USB-C port.
I still remember a day I try copy all of my photos to USB 3.1 thumb disk from my Mi note 10, it's about 45GB and I start from 100% of battery .... until battery run out, the job still not finish.
(PS: connect to PC is the only way, because it can charge while copy)

7:53 I actually have my own prediction, what if: iPhone 15 and 15 plus get usb-c with 5 gb/s speed, iPhone 15 Pro usb-c with 10 gb/s and iPhone 15 ultra with thunderbolt and 40 gb/s. I’m predicting apple will give the regular 15 and 15 plus 5 gb/s with usb-c just like they did with the iPad Air 4th generation, giving the iPhone 15 pro the better version of usb-c just like the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pros had, and of course the iPhone 15 ultra with thunderbolt 4 speeds. That’s just my theory

I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max updating from my iPhone 11. Because of my eyesight I really only used the 11 for calls only. But I find myself using the 14 Pro Max more regularly and for more functions e.g. Camera, Games, Internet, Calls….

The pro max size is too big for my hand and way too big and heavy to carry around comfortably so I’m pretty disappointed that they could do this

I hope they offer the advanced features for both sizes of the pro models. I like having the advanced features but the larger size model is too large for some people myself included. I do understand that the larger footprint has more internal space but I am not sure that the features we are talking about will require the larger frame. I have a 13 Pro and plan on waiting until next year to upgrade.

Cool thought 🤔 Would be awesome if the second front camera was an ultra wide, and used it in Conjunction with the rear ultra wide to take 360 video and photos! Can only hope 🤞

I upgraded from an 11 pro max to the 14 pro max and I am happy with it. USB-C is cool but like Max mentioned I also don't transfer photos and video via lightning cable and use iCloud for that and phone backups. I only really use the lightning cable for charging and my 14 pro max is usually at 100% in like 30 mins.

I can see myself holding on to the 14 pro max until the iPhone 16 or iPhone 17. If the Ultra has some mind-blowing features or the camera is a significant bump from the 14 pro max then I MIGHT upgrade again next year.

Let’s get real here, Apple is going to gimp USB-C by limiting the data rate to USB 2.0 speeds (480Mbps). Need to hold some features back for iPhone 16 Turbo Ultra Max Super.

No need to wait - upgrading every year its a no-brainer at least with US carriers - you can simply swap the 13 for 14 for the same or very little extra money - I do that every year 😀

I think dynamic island is gonna be around for a while, for Apple, to completely switch over to punch hole cam on the next iPhone would be admitting defeat.

I think Apple is going to push the lighting port one more year because the EU law doesn't go into effect until 2024 so the September 2023 release wouldn't be affected.
