Meghan and Harry received ‘resentment’ after successful 2018 Australian tour

Former ITV royal editor Tim Ewart discusses Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 tour of Australia.

“It gave Meghan a taste of the more glamorous and exciting side of royal life,” Mr Ewart said.

“I think she and Harry had expected they would get more praise and recognition and in fact according to them all they got was resentment.

She is never, ever wrong. Honestly, she supposedly threw hot tea at a staff member at Government House and the palace had to pay off that person. So, I’m sure that coloured their view of the success of Megsy.

It was never a "successful" tour in 2018, it only appeared successful because the media covered up for the duo and did not reveal what actually took place. Her disdain for royal duties and having to interact with regular people. Her complaining over their accommodations that were not good enough for her and the hot tea incident.

Meghan said "She saw no point to the tour of Australia" because she didn't get paid.
She expected the Governor General of Australia to hand over Melbourne House (his official residence) for her sole use.
She barely spent any time on Royal walkabouts.
She was supposed too be representing The Queen, yet she took some of her chums for a free ride.
She threw a hot cup of tea over one of the staff members and she was rude to the other staff

Good grief. Why should there have been recognition?? Praise?? They went to Australia as representatives of the Queen. Royal tours are to positively reflect the position of the MONARCHY. That was their JOB. Not to garner attention and focus on themselves FFS. It’s not the palace’s job to CODDLE them!!!

Meghan may have been seen as popular in front of the camera in Australia, but she was a nasty piece of work to her staff - AND to the people of Fiji and other smaller nations. So RUDE - that doesn’t deserve praise.

Meghan saw the crowd in Australia and instantly thought how do i monetise this? She was rejected by the Royal Family for this half in half out idea where they can profit off their titles.. And now she's in the US trying to do exactly what the Queen said no to. How has Charles not revoked their titles?

Yeah i'm sure as soon as Harry and Meghan got back to the UK the Royal Family sat down to discuss how upset they were that Meghan did so well and she's so popular? The arrogance of these people is absurd.. We don't get many celebrities in Australia because it's so far away from the US and the UK.. People lined the streets for Logan Paul and KSI FFS.. I think Meghan thought that would be the norm, and also she wanted to be paid for being in Australia.. I'm sure she saw the big crowd and thought "what if we charged admission?" or "What if we had merch to sell!?" And so they left the Royal Family because they weren't allowed to monetise the titles..

How can they praise her when she threw hot coffee to one of the attendant during their visit to Australia. Another of her bully when she did not get her way. Aside the scenario when she ignore and ghosted David Beckham

Why do they think they should be praised, they were doing their job, , Australia has a very different opinion of both now, ,they needn't bother coming back.
