Heavy snow impacted travel conditions across Middle Tennessee on Thursday, January 6, as near whiteout conditions and vehicle crashes were reported on highways in the region.

The National Weather Service reported up to three inches of snowfall as of Thursday morning, with the accumulation expected to increase before precipitation tapered off in the afternoon.
