Yes, the government should regulate what can be said on the internet.
The reasons can be as follows:-
1. When their is a sensitive topic being discussed in any video on any platform, some commentators comment something insensitive regarding that topic, which is ethically wrong and can hurt the other person on any level, which the commentators may not understand, this needs to be regulated importantly, because it can even normalize the insensitivity as nowadays it is actually being normalized in many rape, suicide or other respective cases, whether anyone is suffering, we should be sensitive about others irrespective of who the person is by their gender, caste, religion, looks or any other respective aspect of their lives .
2. The government can also create some awareness that a person has the right to present or keep their opinion, and has the right to keep I, if they don't agree with others opinion, they can always present their opinion but without saying that, their opinion is only correct and other's isn't.
Inshort we the people of the world should understand, that having opinion is amazing but we should learn to share our opinions with respect to other's opinions and be ok when someone doesn't agree with you while the other person should also respectfully keep their opinions but shouldn't disrespect the other person for their opinions as it's just shows how a person is actually around other people, are they even able to be in group discussions healthily or not and when we want to participate in any group discussions we should always keep the respect factor at first for our and other's opinions and healthily can say, I have a different opinion on that topic and say it respectfully.
No one is forcing their opinions on us and by their opinion being said by them cannot change our opinion, it just can make us think differently about the knowledge we have regarding that topic and then, the knowledge of that topic is the only thing that has the power to actually form a new one .
Thanks ☺️ .
Respectfully comment your opinions on the question that dii asked ( if you are willing to, it's ok, It will be welcomed.❤

Yes, the government should regulate what can be said on the internet. It's a point in time where what we post/say on the internet matters a lot and must be thought twice/thrice about before we put our views out there. Simply, considering the fact that the internet is a place where all kinds of audience are found so it is essential that we keep in mind what we have to say is valid in terms of how the what and how the message is conveyed publicly.

My answer to that question is no government should not regulate what can be said on the internet firstly we live and in a Democratic society and we have freedom of speech. The power which each individual holds by this act can be taken away from them which end up as dictatorship. Secondly in my POV I can see where this question coming from as today time Internet as become toxic place where people miss use there power but again people do have power to prove them wrong so I think it is a balance and depends on individual and various other factors how they deal and react to that toxicity.

I guess, well yes, the government should have some policies regulating what can be said on the internet. It happens to occur that, half of the people take their right to speak freely too much seriously and write whatever they feel about anything they see, that goes against their understanding, irrespective of thinking about it's consequences. They tend to forget the possibility of whether their comments would hurt sentiments of others. They think that they can write whatever they feel, unfiltered and nobody would be able to stop them since they are doing so from their comfortable spaces behind their computer screens.
I believe you can share your thoughts in the comments, but in a filtered way, since, it is very much possible that your words can hurt the other person greatly. But if you politely try to make your point and spot out the points of difference, the other side will try to understand, considering that you are not attacking him/her verbally but politely stating your own opinion.

I think people are free to express themselves and their thoughts through internet, so a total government dominance won't be right, in accordance with some critical issues which disrupts laws, rules and regulation or is against humanity can be justified as government's concern and surely government must take steps regarding the same.

if we take an example of todays society where people are having rights to express there feeling they tends to say anything whichever comes into their mind depending upon their likes and dislikes. And ofcourse internet made that possible to express anything about anyone. So, if a random person is commenting on a post sharing his feelings he might be using some unacceptable words which might lead to arguments which is again ethically wrong and can hurt the creator of that post.

So, talking about the topic whether govt should regulate what to be said on the internet, so in my opinion they should regulate just because of the people being too opinionated in this new world where most of them can say anything without any hesitation what others might having a thought which may lead to some serious fights on the internet. What govt. will do is they'll make netizens understand keeping their opinions in a respectful manner which somewhat is lacking, making internet a toxic place.

TOPIC - Should government regulate what can be said on the internet.

No i really don't agree with this because everyone has their different point of view on the same incident that happens so if the government regulates which is said to the internet it will create a Chaos.

But government can take the opinion from the people who said on the internet that will help the government also to understand the what people actually want

I personally feel that government should not regulate what can be said on the internet because it will put a question mark on fundamental rights like right to freedom of speech and expression.
Instead of monopolistic control by government, there should be regulations to be undertaken if the information shared breaches the sovereignty, integrity of the nation

In my opinion there should be a balance between regulating what can be said on internet and not breaching the right to express becouse it's a fundamental right .. and tech companies also have their term and conditions on this because internet is something on which everyone is sharing there thoughts opinions and ideas and as well as everyone is concerned about their privacy also ... so in the conclusion it's ok set the limits and keep a eye on internet so if anyone there trying to some unlawful act like telling wrong facts about the country and spreading some unwanted thoughts so that can be restricted because it's also not allowed in our rights . So There should be a restriction but on what is trying to make society chaotic.

Is it good points ???

While i believe that internet can be a place for harmful behavior like cyberbullying, the fact that cannot be ignored is that it is also an open platform where people can express their opinions freely. So government should not entirely regulate what can be said on internet.
