6:31 thank you for this anecdote, I plan on looking into this more. I've been on Bumble and was having a really hard time at first but I made my profile so much more authentic to who I am and started getting better quality matches right away. Whenever I was on there, it was maybe once or twice a week, and I'd take my time looking through maybe 10-15 men, and maybe only match with about 3 out of the bunch. I was finding it difficult reaching out first when I started, but I got the hang of just being warm and engaging without caring if I got a reply or not. I didn't hear back from most of my matches when I was being more picky more recently, but when I wasn't picky, it was just low quality matches. I deleted it but I'm just doing my own thing right now. I'm actually gonna look into it now before I download it again.
